“We regularly produce seasonal campaigns with a number of POS items. It is important that these are not only printed to a high standard, but also collated and packed correctly for delivery to each of our stores, to not cause any delays. We can rely on RetailTeam to deliver a smooth implementation.”

– Store Twenty One

The Challenge

Store Twenty One was looking for a fast and efficient supplier who could manage a number of print requirements from producing effective, quality collateral to handling storage and distribution.

  • Point of sale (POS)
Initially Store Twenty One required a supplier who could turn around its most important campaign of the year, the Christmas campaign, within tight timescales and also at a competitive price. With multiple items and over 200 store locations the job had a high degree of collation to ensure that each store received the correct products at the right time.
  • Carrier bags
It also needed a supplier who could store, manage and distribute its carrier bags over a contracted period while adhering to a tight yearly schedule.
  • Gift cards, vouchers and general print
From utilising the best print production to obtaining best prices, a supplier was sought who could manage all elements of the printed material; including monitoring stock levels and distribution.
  • New store opening packs
Store Twenty One planned to open a store every one-to-two weeks, and had hired an internal team to manage the administration of this. RetailTeam recognised it could provide time and cost savings to this process.

Our Solution

Working closely with Store Twenty One’s marketing team, RetailTeam have been able to deliver a range of print and marketing solutions. Experienced in the retail sector, we are well used to producing seasonal POS and time sensitive marketing campaigns. We understand how crucial it is to meet the required timelines and ensure that the coordination of campaigns runs smoothly.

We are able to deliver regular seasonal POS and campaign material on time and to budget. For example, the Christmas campaign consisted of 57 individual items, covering a wide range of product lines such as window display backdrops, window vinyls, internal display graphics, shelf edge strips, swing tickets and hanging boards.

Due to our own network of nationwide warehouse facilities, RetailTeam was able to ensure that all campaign stock was properly managed from secure storage to prompt delivery. Working to a three week turnaround between winning the campaign and delivering to the customer, this included five working days for production and allowed time for our warehouse to accurately pick and pack everything by store, delivering to the distribution centre ready for despatch to over 200 stores across the UK.

RetailTeam now successfully manages the distribution and storage for carrier bags for all stores across the UK. In addition, we store and distribute the new store opening packs saving time and administration for the Store Twenty One team.

Who is Store Twenty One?

Its rapid success and continued growth led to the acquisition of factories in Scotland and Southern England. Through growth and acquisitions Store Twenty One now has over 200 stores across the UK supplying fashion and homeware.
